A life-time resident of Miami, Greg Herskowitz has been practicing law in Florida since 1997. Greg Herskowitz currently lives in the Village of Palmetto Bay with his wife and three kids. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1994, Greg attended the University Of Miami School Of Law and graduated cum laude in 1997, earning his Juris Doctor degree. Greg was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year and has been practicing law in South Florida ever since.
Greg began his career at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, where he litigated thousands of cases, including, but not limited to, violent felony crimes. After serving the community for over three years, Greg went into private practice. While in private practice, Greg initially handled a variety of cases, until 2003, when he decided to pursue a practice focusing in Real Estate. Greg saw too many people involved in real estate transactions, who were not communicated with or informed about the process. Furthermore, Greg realized that too many professionals were not as accessible as they should be during the transaction process. As a result, this caused undue stress and problems for all parties involved. This is when Greg decided to dedicate all of his time and energy to developing a process to streamline the closing process. Greg also decided to provide his direct line and cell phone number to all parties involved in a transaction and has committed himself to being as accessible and involved as possible – regardless if this meant being available after working hours and on weekends (See client testimonials). “In order to be successful in the real estate field, you have to make yourself as accessible as possible. Agents have to work odd hours, and if an attorney wants to provide the service expected of them, by clients and agents alike, you must also be willing to answer a call or respond to an email outside of the normal working hours. Communication is the key to an efficient and seamless transaction”.
